Harvey Prendergast Lynn, III died on July 4, 2018 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, he was 69 years old. He was survived by his wife, Michele, and younger brother, Venice High Alumni, S70 Dennis Lynn of Las Vegas.

Harvey’s parents met when his father, Harvey Jr was stationed in Corsica, France. He was a major in the US Army where he had served 3 ½ years. They were married in Jefferson, Texas in August of 1947.

Harvey Lynn III was born February 22, 1949 in Washington, DC. In 1950 the family was residing in San Angelo, Texas where they were living with his grandparents Sebastian and Rose Louise Petrotti. In 1953, the family was residing in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1952, a son, Dennis joined the family.
By 1962, the family was living at 3218 Colby Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90066.
In 1963 Harvey played on the CARDS ‘Mar Vista – Westdale Baseball’ team where they won the Baseball Crown for the second season.

In 1967 Harvey graduated in June with the Les Uniques class where he played football and was voted ‘Best Sense of Humor’ by his class. Harvey was photo shy, no senior picture in the yearbook. With his close knit group of friends, Harvey was known as 'the mole.'

Harvey’s mother, Yvonne Sebastienne Petrotti 1918-2006 born Bastia, Corsica, France, died in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In 1987 Harvey married Michele Jacqueline Venturini in Bastia, Corsica, France and they eventually moved to Pittsburg after living in Los Angeles. Harvey worked as an engineer for Arconic, Ltd. an American industrial company specializing in lightweight metals engineering and manufacturing.
