About	Sharon Lee (Newman) Nichols went home to be with Our Lord on August 30th with her family by her side. Sharon Was From The Graduating Class Of 65’ Sharon attended Beethoven and Walgrove Elementary School, Mark Twain Junior High before advancing To Venice High School. While At Mark Twain Sharon was A Finalist For Posture Queen ~ A Moment She Valued !!! At Venice High Sharon was a member Of The Gondolier High Steppers Drill Team which preformed at the football games and spent time in The Girls Athletic Club. Sharon was very involved with her Church, Venice Baptist Church. She started attending services there at the age of 4 and accepted her Lord And Savior at age 11. She faithfully Served Her Lord Throughout Her Life Teaching Sunday School Classes , Preforming In The Octones Singing Group, Singing In The Church Choir And Also Was A Leader In The AWANA Children’s Program. Her Time As An AWANA Leader Lead To The Program Bringing Home Many State Awards !!! While She Was Still Miss Newman Sharon Met Her Lifetime Love Tom Nichols at a Church Winter Camp At Big Bear Lake when She Was 15 Years Old ... The Story Goes Tom Had Missed Lunch And Came To The Kitchen Seeking Nourishment. Sharon was still there With Her Friends And Felt Pity On The Young Tom And Offered To Share Her Soup With Him ... This Was The Start Of A Real Life Long Love Story !!! Tom Somehow Held On To Sharon And Would Escort Her To Her Senior Prom ... The Two Eventually Would Become Mr And Mrs Tom Nichols On January 24th , 1969 The Love Story Continued For Sharon And Tom As They Welcomed 3 Children , Christine , Katie And Tommy , All Who Attended Venice High As Well !!! Sharon Was A Teacher By Profession For The Los Angeles , Santa Monica And Malibu School Districts And Was Often Called “The Story Lady” , She Had The Gift !!! She Was An Adventurous Person Who Was Often Photographed On Horseback , Hiking And Mountain Biking Adventures With Her Family ... She , With Her Exceptional Good Looks , Did Some Modeling And Was Seen Standing Next To Lexus Automobiles !!! Sharon Didn’t Stop There , As A Couple , Sharon And Tom Pursued Acting Careers , Often Going On Auditions Together ... She Once Portrayed The Queen Of Sweden On Film !!! Sharon And Tom Celebrated Their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary This Past January Sharon’s Life Was Filled With Genuine Kindness And Friendship To All Who Knew Her ... Love And Laughter Was Present In All Aspects Of Her Life. We Send Prayers To Her Family And Friends For Comfort As There Is A Void In Their Lives
