Christine Cordova, 74, passed away on May 17, 2024 in Venice, California returning to her heavenly home. May Christine be embraced by the love of God in heaven.
Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. It was with deep sadness, that she was predeceased by her son, Marcello Trejo in 2014.

Christine Lynn Cordova was born on June 24, 1949 in Los Angeles.
In 1957, Christine belonged to the Brownies Troop 121 of the Girls Council of Venice where she received her Brownie Pin.
In February of 1964, Christine was a model for the Founders Day Program at Mark Twain Jr. High. In June of 1964, Christine graduated from Mark Twain Junior High.
When she was just 15, she married Jimmy O Talamantez age 16 on August 2, 1964. They had children during their marriage. They were divorced by July of 1973.
In 1967, Christine began working as a technician at Pacific Bell Telephone company and studied at West Los Angeles College.
In April of 1974, Christine married James Marcello Trejo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In June of 1985, Christine married Shawn R Smith in Las Vegas, Nevada.
?? Christine loved to Travel. In 2015, she visited Meteora Greece and climbed up to visit a Monastery to the top of a mountain, made stops in Delphi, Rhodes, Santorini, Crete, Mykonos, Olympia and Kalambaka. The highlight of her trip was the wall of prayer notes to the Virgin Mary that she left there.
One of Christine's favorite songs was “Mary did you Know”
On December 26, 2017 Christine retired. Later that year, she took a trip to Turkey and visited the ruins in Ephesus. Ephesus Turkey the Home of The Virgin Mary where Mary spent the remainder of her days. It was a very moving experience for Christine and she felt honored to have been there.
