Andrew Marc. Andrew Marc Rothstein, October 22, 1950 - January 23, 2025. Andy saw the good in everyone. He was an artistic, playful, gentle, loving man. Andy lived in Bellport, NY, with the love of his life, Agatha Wirth. He passed away peacefully after four challenging years battling cancer. Andy was born in Los Angeles, to Shirley Marilyn Zigman and Arthur Rothstein. Surrounded by doting grandparents, uncles, and aunts, Andy's childhood was full of love and family. Andy's love of the arts, performance, and music sustained him both professionally and personally. In the 1990s Andy and Agatha moved to New York where he wrote, directed, produced, created, and developed documentaries, series, and specials for CBS, NBC, PBS, UPN, National Geographic, Discovery, History, A&E, TLC, and numerous other production companies. His film, "Betrayal: The Battle for Warsaw," was recognized internationally. After retirement, Andy and Agatha moved to Bellport, to live close to the ocean and to spend time in their garden. Andy never hesitated to stand up for what he believed to be right and just. He is remembered by family and friends for the kindness of his heart and soul. Andy was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Shirley Rothstein, his brother, Harold, and by his uncle Paul, and aunt Eileen Zigman. He is survived by his wife Agatha Wirth, sister Adriane Rothstein (Mark Billy), niece Anna Billy, uncle Robert Zigman, aunt Marcia Zigman, and cousins Charles, Alyse, Felicia, Noah, Eric (Haley Bogosian), Emma, and Andrea Zigman (Ted Scharf), and Rob Scharf (Leigh Tami). A celebration of life is planned for later this year.
