University High School alum Dick Walley passes away
William Richard Walley (DICK WALLEY) Class ‘64, passed away on March 25, 2022 from congestive heart failure and COPD.
After graduating from UNI, he joined the Marine Corp Reserves and upon his return he graduated from the Los Angeles Police Dept. and served from 1968-1995.
First big assignment, the Manson Murders and his last, OJ Simpson Murders.
He was a loving brother, husband, father of 2 daughters; Nicole Marie Walley Bernal and Christina Walley.
A memorial is being planned at the LAPD park for August 14, if you knew him and wish to attend, please contact me here (his sister, CLASS of ‘68). He will be greatly missed, RIP Dick.
