Douglas died on Saturday, September 03, 1994 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Florida after being hit by a drunk driver. He was 37 years, 7 months and 15 days of age. He lived in Lakeland, Florida for 16 years. He was employed as a welder at Custom Welding and Fabrication and was baptized as a Baptist. The Rev. Richard A Churchwell of the Shiloh Covenant Family Church held memorial services at the Thornton-Holcom Chapel in Lakeland, Florida. Doug was cremated.
