About	Cadillac, Michigan - Terigean Ann Miller, longtime resident of Manton and formerly of Leslie, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 9, 2017. She was 63. Terigean was born one day short of Valentine's Day on February 13, 1954, in Vandercook Lake, Michigan to Emery and Rose (Hurd) Lee. Her birth in proximity to the holiday may have had something to do with the size of her heart and caring nature. Terigean will be remembered for her ability to put others first and the love she provided to so many. She had a passion for children and gave of herself in both time and energy. Teri served as a caretaker for many and foster mother, that extended herself well beyond title, for close to 100 foster kids throughout the years. She was raised in Vandercook Lake, where she attended school and met her high school sweetheart, Gilbert Miller. The two were joined in holy matrimony on July 3, 1970, in Jackson, MI. Terigean was raised in a large family herself and her pride as a mother and grandmother was evident. She was artistic and talented in so many ways. Teri would often spend time working on her next craft, painting, or article of clothing for family. She provided some of the most cherished gifts by creating them by hand for many family members and friends. Teri will be deeply missed. Terigean is survived by her husband of over 46 years, Gilbert Miller of Manton; her children, Gina Freeland, Bobie Jo (Scott) Haarer, Gilbert Miller, and Jason Miller; eleven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members, friends and neighbors in the Amish community. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm today, Friday, April 21st at the Liberty Township Hall, located at 7478 North 41 Road near Manton. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of her husband Gilbert.
