Class of 1965
Navy, 20+ Years
Navy pilot, flew T-34, T-28, TFT-9 (advanced jet trainer) landed as a student on aircraft carrier. Received wings of gold on birthday on March 12, 1971! Assigned the A-6 Intruder based at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach VA. Successfully completed over 330 landings (100+ @ night) on USS Independence CV-62 aircraft carrier. Also flew F-4 Phantom, F-14 Tomcat, EA-6B Prowler and A-4 Skyhawk single seat version.
