| About Me | Spent 20 years in the Air Force. Most of that was spent teaching/writing/supervising courses at the technical school for computerized avionics test equipment in Denver - 12 years over 3 tours. Life has taken me to nearly every corner of the US and across both oceans at various times. I can truly say that I have found something good about each location where I have lived. After taking a few classes over many years, I finally went to college full-time in 2000. The graduation ceremony was on my 46th birthday. That proves you can teach some old dogs new tricks :) I was the firearms examiner at the Bexar County Crime Lab in San Antonio until January 2009. The job is NOT like on CSI!!! It is not all glitz and glamour like it is portrayed and we don't have all the fancy toys available to solve cases. My next stop was at a Joint Expeditionary Forensic Facility in Iraq for 16 months.
