About	James L. Tolliver Jr., 43, of 604 East North Broadway, Columbus, died Thursday, May 12, 1994 at 1 p.m. in his residence. He was born May 13, 1950, in Urbana, the son of James L. and Carrie E. Waugh Tolliver Sr. He was employed as a high school teacher at Westland High School and had taught in the Urbana Public School System for nine years, He was a member of the Jerusalem Second Baptist Church in Urbana. Mr. Tolliver is survived by his long-time partner, John R. Climer of Columbus; a sister, Valerie Cochran of Urbana; paternal grandmother, Lola Tolliver of Urbana; a niece, Kellie Hackley; two nephews, Anthony Tolliver and Wes Moxley; great-nieces, Mahoganie, Mahnik and Monica Hackley, all of Urbana; aunts and uncles, Josephine (Donald) Dolby, Martha Ferguson and Marion Couts, all of Urbana, Harry Ruby Hill, Sara Robinson and Betty (James) Waugh of Springfield. In accordance with the wishes of James, his body was cremated. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, in the Jerusalem Second Baptist Church in Urbana, with the Rev. Hershel Byrd officiating. Interment of his ashes will follow the memorial services in Oak Dale Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Dennis L. Porter Funeral Home Inc., Springfield.
