About	Michael Halterman, 36, of 3106 Stone Quarry Road, Urbana, died suddenly Monday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m. in his residence. He was born March 3, 1950, in Urbana, the son of Henry Arthur and Kathryn Ann (Botkin) Halterman. On March 25, 1983, he married the former Kathleen Lyden in their residence. He was a member of the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge No. 268 of North Lewisburg, the Champaign County Farm Bureau and the Cornnuts Growers Association. Survivors include his parents, wife, two daughters, Wendy Marie Halterman and Amy Ellen Halterman, three sons, Eric Allan Halterman, Mark Joseph Mefford and Scott Aaron Mefford, all of home, two brothers, Roger Eugene and Philip (Joe) of Urbana, a grandmother, Mrs. Clara Halterman of Woodstock, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Skillman McDonald Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg with the Rev. Charles W Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Oak Dale Cemetery. Friend may call Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
