Bob served 4 years in the U.S.Navy before attending and graduating from OSU. He worked in sales and sales management for 38 years for Hobert Corp. in Troy, Ohio. Bob was an avid reader, stream fishing and bird watching. He was active in Kiwanis, Meals on Wheels and American Cancer Society.

Bob and I joined the navy together right out of high school. We went to boot camp in Bainbridge, Md.
Then we both went to training schools at a deferent location and never saw each other again til we were
out of the service.
