| About Me | I attended Malone College for five years and graduated with a Bachelor which enabled me to teach Jr/Hi school business and bookkeeping classes. I got married to Chip Kelly (from Salem) the weekend after college graduation. We moved to our home on Depot Road where we began major renovations. I was hired at Kent State Salem Campus as the receptionist and as part-time faculty. I did that for six years until I delivered our first child, Bridgette. When she was born, I became a full-time stay-at-home mom and continued teaching part-time at Kent. Four years later we had our son, Mitchell. While working part-time and raising kids, I decided to return to school at Kent State and get my Master in Education. I home-schooled both of our children until they reached 8th and 7th grade.
