About Me	Married, Worked as carpenter, completed college and advanced degree, taught at Rice University for 14 years, served as department administrator and user liaison prior to joining Linbeck as a science specialist for construction of research, medical and teaching facilities. Served as Team Manager to deliver more than $350 million in construction projects over 15 years. Volunteered as sailor/carpenter on the 1877 barque Elissa (three masted square rigged vessel) based in Galveston. Participated in several MS150 (170 mile bike ride from Houston to Austin). Enjoyed seeing our children grow into adulthood. Daughter, Dr. Brooke Lasics is a Pediatrician with Texas Children's Hospital Pediatrics Group and lives near us in Houston with her family of three children.
