| About Me | Let's see, I reckon I'll start from 1975. 1: After HS, I attended Nassau CC for 1 semester. 2: Mar1976: Got a job working for a stationery company at 30 Rockefeller Cenrter. 3. March 1977 - Enlisted in the USAF. Job title was a Morse Systems Operator (Ditty Bop). 1st tour was at Misawa AB, Japan (18 months). Last tour was at Fort Meade, MD. Got married to my 1st wife Nov 1979. 1st child was born Apr 1980 (daughter). Honorable discharge March 1981. 4: 1981-1983 - Worked for a brokerage firm in NYC. 5: 1986-2006 - Worked for EDS as a computer operator, desktop support, IT tech at various locales (NYC/NJ/MN/CT) Nov 1989 2nd child was born (son). Jan 1992 - 3rd child was born (son). Early 1992: 2nd born son was diagnosed with a terminal genetic disease. Sept 1992 he had passed away at 34 months of age (living in MN at the time). The hurt will alway be there, but I know he is with Jesus. 1996: Left MN via job transfer to CT 2002: My daughter got married - no kids 2006: Dec 2006 I became disabled due to neck issues. Cervical spine surgery. Unable to return to work. 2007-2010: Had 3 more cervical spine surgeries. Was alble to go back to school doing online classes at Asnuntuck CC in CT. May 2010: Moved to Winston-Salem. NC. Became too expensive in CT. Continued my education at Forsyth Tech CC. June 2010: My wife and I decided to divorce. March 2011: Met my 2nd and current wife on a dating website. June 2011: Began working part time at a computer lab). Moved in with her Oct 2011 (Salisbury, NC). Transferred to RCCC to complete my education (2013). April 2012: Married my 2nd wife. Feb 2013: My 1st son got married. March 2013: 1st wife passed away from cancer. March 2013: Had my 5th cervicle spine surgery. Aug 2016 - present: After getting laid off from the computer lab, I began working at Enterprise Car Rental in Salisbury, NC. Lo and behold, I had quite a challenging life but the Good Lord got me through them. I moved about more than I can ever list before settling down in Salisbury. Got involved in our local theatre (my wife was an actor and costumer). I gave it a try and landed a few roles. It was a bit nerve racking but fun getting on stage. My first show was a comedy (You Can't Take it With You in which I played a G-Man), 2nd role was in Look Homeward Angel - Dance instructor, 3rd role was in 12 Angry Jurors - Juror #9 (favorite role), Grandpa George in Willy Wonka JR, Lord John Middleton in Sense and Sensability, Non speaking role in Nana's Naughty Knickers. My next upcoming role will be as a Jury Foreman in Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution. All in all, I am very blessed!! I have 5 grandkids: By blood - I have a 9 year old grandson. On my wife's side, a 12 year old granddaugher, an 8 year old grandsson, a 5 year old grandson, and a 12 year old granddaughter from stepdaughter's marriage.
