Brian served as an MP in the National Guard. He guarded bridges and subways in NYC after 911, the power plant in Oswego and spent a year in Iraq.

Marine Corps, 4 Years

I joined the United States Marine Corps after a year at CCC. upon graduating from Boot Camp I started logistics. My first unit was the Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command. From there I deployed to Afghanistan in 2008. On August 4, 2008 I was wounded in combat from an improvised explosive device. In November of that year I recieved the Purple Heart for injuries in combat.

Spent a very rewarding and exciting 24 year career in the US Navy...retired as a Master Chief Information Systems Technician (ITCM/E9). Now working on my 2nd career with the federal government (FEMA). Looking forward to the next Class of 77 reunion.

TSGT David Brier has served in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, England, and is presently serving at Bagram AFB in Afghanistan. Prior to his deployment to Afghanistan, TSgt. Brier was an instructor at Lakeland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. David is married and has three children.

Sergeant Scott Barner was assigned to “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in December 2006. After graduating from Union Springs High School in 2003, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and attended recruit training at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Beaufort, S.C. Sgt Barner attended Supply School at Camp Johnson, N.C., then received orders to Bravo Battery at Camp Pendleton, Calif. From August 2005-March 2006 he was deployed with Bravo Battery in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
