Kevin Parrington
Class of 1997
Coast Guard, 16 Years
Chief Marine Science Technician Kevin Parrington currently serves as the Maritime Facility Inspection supervisor at Coast Guard Sector New York on Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, NY.
Previous assignments include a staff tour as Facility Inspections SME at USCG Pacific Area and operational tours at Sector Southeastern New England, Sector Seattle, Marine Safety Office Puget Sound, USCG Cutter Polar Sea, and USCG Station New Haven, CT.
Chief Parrington has been deployed twice to Antarctica in support of Operation Deepfreeze and once to the Arctic in support of the Shelf Basin Initiative oceanographic mission in the East Siberian, Chukchi, and Beaufort Seas.
Personal and Deployment Awards include the Coast Guard Commendation Medal, Coast Guard Achievement Medal (4), Coast Guard Letter of Commendation (2), Antarctica Service Medal (2), and Arctic Service Medal.

Navy, 6 Years
Graduated Naval Nuclear Power training program and served aboard USS George C. Marshall Ballistic Missile submarine for 9 patrols including first gulf war as a Nuclear Reactor Operator

Tim Dunbar
Class of 1999
Army, 5 Years
SGT(P) Dunbar is going on his 6th year in the US Army. He is an Iraqi War Veteran where he made many accomplishments serving on the Personal Security Detachment for his Battalion Commander. He was also the main creator, organizer, and promoter for a Brigade Boxing Tournament that took place in Baghdad. He is currently stationed at Fort Hood, TX where is assigned to the Third Armored Corps and the admin NCO and driver for the Deputy Chief of Staff of Fort Hood, TX. He will soon join the rank of Staff Sergeant in the next couple of months.
