Steve was the head custodian of Two Harbors High School and had worked there for 31 years. His first wife, Sherri (Abbott - class of 69) died in 1995 and he remarried in 1996 to Kathy (Hagen - class of 72). He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2005 and died in July of the same year. He has 3 children, Shawn - Kansas City, Missouri; Stephanie - Eden Prairie, Minnesota; and Susie - Two Harbors. He was a wonderful family man and the greatest grandpa ever! We all miss him very much.
