Andy Toolson

Class of 1984

Andrew “Andy” Kent Toolson was born in Chicago, Illinois on January19, 1966. He is a 1984 graduate of Twin Falls High. He played basketball for Brigham Young University fro 1984-85, and 1987-88, 1988-89, and 1989-90. (Toolson served an LDS mission in Concepcion, Chile, from 1985 to 1987.) As a senior, Toolson averages 18.3 points, helping BYU win the WAC title.
Toolson began his 11 year long professional career as a rookie with the Utah Jazz in 1990. He also played for teams in Italy, Greece, and Spain before accepting a position coaching at BYU. He announced his desire to quite coaching and change careers in 2005.
He has since worked in the investment industry, and now works as Vice President/Financial Consultant with the Salt Lake City, Utah office of Cambria Capital, LLC, a boutique investment banking and brokerage firm. He currently resides with his wife Holly and six children in Alpine, UT.
