Greg Matson (‘80’) is my first and last love. Lots of life happened before we once again found each other. Greg was blessed with 3 children of his own, Dakotah, Chloe and Ty. Our blended family is amazing and perfect. Greg’s 3 children (and his son Dakota’s 3 step children) all live near Santa Barbara, and my daughter Heather Rose and 3 of her children live in Florida. And as I have mentioned, Greg Dakotah and I (who we became the legal parents of) have our own little family, soon to be “Empty Nesters”! Only a generation late, but it has been worth every minute! Hi
I have helped be one of the managers at a local main grocery store for just under 15 years, went back and studied Psychology and got my teaching Credentials, taught for some years, and then my life changed when I had to have 5 brain surgeries, 3 in 2 years, 2 in 1 year. Pretty much took me out of the work field, but you never know, I may be back!
Luckily, after some time working in construction with his Dad down near SB, he also went back to school and became a Registered Nurse! We were definitely made for each other because he is just what I needed! And believe it or not, I was just what he needed at that time of his life. That song by Garth Brooks called Unanswered Prayers? Totally true. From young love till true love, it’s definitely worth waiting for. Even if it takes almost 20 years. Now it’s all about “Rocking Chairs”.
