About Me	I can be very slow to open up to people, but I'm quite verbose when I finally do. I like talking, especially about controversial issues, and I like arguing/debating/discussing. I like people who aren't afraid to say what they think, and I like people who make fun of me and let me make fun of them. I aspire to be a nerd! (And I'm really into geekiness.) I am completely undisciplined when it comes to taking care of my physical self - I tend to be more interested in taking care of my intellectual self. But I'm actually trying to change this of late. I like silliness and I appreciate sincerity. Yes, it sounds oxymoronic. (Which, by the way, is a wonderful word.) Balance is good, as is flexibility. I tend to be pretty easy going. I am nosy and like to ask personal questions. It's because I'm interested in people and I don't mean to be rude. I'm the founder of the Secular Alliance of IU (www.saiu.org). I'm an atheist and a secular humanist and not at all in-your-face about it. I LOVE food and anything to do with it, especially cooking. Can I cook for you/with you? I want to be more involved with local food policy, volunteering (and hopefully someday working) with local food-related non-profits. I write for Earth Eats (eartheats.org) and have my own blog (sarahkaiser.net). I'm trying to reduce my consumption as much as possible...I think everyone should be more aware of how their choices in what they buy affect the world. ...(read more)
