About David P. Braden, Jr., age 61 of Kerrville, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in a Del Rio hospital. He was born July 23, 1951 in Kerrville to David Patrick Braden, Sr. and Thetis (Twombly) Braden. On August 6, 2009, he married Debbie Fiedler.
David graduated from Tivy High School and played on the 1969 Tivy Basketball Team which won the State title.

David was a land developer and loved to hunt and golf. He was a member of Kerrville Host Lions Club, SCI Hill Country Chapter, and the Dallas Safari Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael Braden

Survivors include wife, Debbie of Kerrville; sons, Patrick Braden of Kerrville and Seth Braden of St. Thomas; daughter, Betsy Miller and husband, Chris of San Antonio; step-daughter, Jennifer Raab and husband, Mark of Fredericksburg; sister, Barbara Ann Biggerstaff and husband, David of North Carolina; mother-in-law, Linda Fiedler; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary Jane and John Schmidt; sisters-in-law, Karen Snowden and husband, Bob, and Tawnya Boos and husband, Sam, both of Fredericksburg; brother-in-law, Steven Fiedler and wife, Lizette of Fredericksburg; step grandchildren, Daniel and Jace Raab.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012, 5-7 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Services will be held Friday, November 9, 2012, 2 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Rev. Mike Williams. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Milton Gibson, Barry Collins, Chet Whatley, Doug Wright, Bruce Keller, and Randy Sanders.

Memorials may be made to the Dietert Senior Center, Kathleen Cailloux Humane Society of Kerrville, or to a charity of one’s choice
