| About Me | Life has been pretty good. I was happily married for a long time which gave me two fantastic daughters (one an MA in psychology who works as a school psychologist) and the other who started off as a NICU nurse saving preemie babies and now does cosmetic injections (lip plumping and botox and she's a real artist at it). Both are really smart, funny, great personalities and beautiful. Six years ago (it's 2017) both daughters had babies a month apart and ... I JUST LOVE THOSE grand kids! In addition to teaching high school biology for 34 years and coaching high school and age group swimming for 30 years, I taught and coached at the university level and for six years I also owned a waterbed store. I'm currently in the midst of writing a research paper regarding the physiology of swim racing and how to apply the information to improve performance.
