About	I was sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I had searched for him for several years as we were planning our class reunions and was unable to contact him. RIP Ron. Judy Hill Ronald Edward Wielgorecki, 69, of Rockford, formerly of Elgin, IL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at home, surrounded by family. Born in Blue Island, IL on May 8, 1944, to Walter and Martha Wielgorecki (Krol). Ron served his country in the US Air Force and was the owner and operator of 7/11 Foods in Prospect Heights, IL for 30 years. An avid golfer, he loved to spend time on the course. He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Ross; daughters, Laura Schumann of Palatine, IL and Christine (Sergio) Gammeri of Burlington, IL; grandchildren, Theodore and Bradford Schumann and Michael and Joseph Gammeri; step-children, Kerrie Schultze and Tony (Bonnie) Paolucci; sisters, Josephine (late Gerald) Heath and Cecelia (Robert) Riskamm; brother-in-law, Bob Kick; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his son, Matthew Wielgorecki; brothers, Michael and Walter (Dianne) Wielgorecki; sisters, Alice Kick and Joan Osberg.
