Class of 1983
played varsity basketball in the 10 grade, ran cross country for the first time came in third
place. also he ran track, got lots of trophies and medals. won mvp twice in track {shelby county} also won indiviual medals at the state track meet 1981,82 and 83. set a state record in the 880, that was what it was called back then.800 meters now. i'm sure i missed something, i know i missed something ,so you can figure out how good he was. if he would have gotten his school work, we would have witness someone who potentually could have made it to the olympics. he was just that good.
