About	Denise Sailors, 65, of Falls City, NE, passed away January 7, 2017 at Falls City. She was born June 9, 1951 at Council Bluffs, IA to the late Sherrold and Anne (Jacobsen) Blaney. On December 8, 2007 she married Chuck Sailors at Nebraska City, NE. The couple made their home in Nebraska City until moving recently to Falls City. Denise was raised in Council Bluffs and graduated Thomas Jefferson High School in 1969. After graduation she worked at Tip-Top at Omaha and then enrolled at Iowa Western and graduated with an associate’s degree in business. She started working at Corn Belt Automotive and then became employed at Automotive Warehouse Distributors Incorporated. She worked there for forty years in various capacities and retired in June 2016 as the Chief Financial Officer due to her health. She had served on the Board of Directors of the Automotive Parts and Service Association. Denise is survived by her husband, Chuck of Falls City, step-children, Ali Glathar and her husband Kris of Falls City, Mitch Sailors and his wife Julie of Kansas City, MO, sister, Janet Marley and her husband Denny of Council Bluffs, brothers, Brian Blaney of Omaha, Mark Blaney and his wife Shirley of Council Bluffs, four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Norma Messersmith and a sister-in-law, Bev (Mrs. Brian) Blaney.
