About	Rosemary G. Conzemius, 88, of Council Bluffs, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013, at Pioneer Park in Lone Tree. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services of Lone Tree is caring for Rosemary's arrangements and her family. Rosemary G. Armatis was born on March 7, 1925 in Council Bluffs, Iowa the daughter of John and Christine (Krivolavek) Armatis. She was a 1944 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs. On September 16, 1950, Rosemary was united in marriage to Vernon N. Conzemius in Council Bluffs. Rosemary played in the Women's Professional Baseball League during WWII, was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing, playing tennis, gardening and reading. Rosemary was the family historian and seamstress, making all of the children's clothing and quilts. Rosemary will be deeply missed by her children, Jim Conzemius and wife, Maria of Iowa City; Steve Conzemius and wife, Jacqueline of Maryville, Tennessee; Cathie Conzemius and Bill Larew of Lone Tree; and Susie Sellers and husband, Chad of Norwalk; two step sons, Mike Conzemius and wife, Patty of Harrison, Arkansas and John Conzemius of Tucson, Arizona; six grandchildren, Jesse, Sarah, Nick, Abby, Eric and Dana; two sisters, Eileen Lewis of Plano, Texas and Jeanette Petersen of Omaha, Nebraska and two brothers, Paul Armatis of Belfair, Washington and Don Armatis and wife, Elayne of Puyallup, Washington. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, Bobby, Vincent, Clint, Clifford and Francis and two sisters, Carmella Prior and Virginia Bolton.
