About	Frederick H. Vogt, age 81, of Council Bluffs, passed away January 14, 2018 at his home Fred was born January 16, 1936 in Council Bluffs to the late Walter B. and Madge (Haynie) Vogt. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1954 and served his country in the U.S. Naval Reserves. Fred married Patricia A. Lamb on June 16, 1956. They were blessed with three daughters, Linda, Kristi and Amy. Fred was a pressman at the Omaha World-Herald for 50 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church; Pressman’s Union and The Center. Fred is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia Vogt of Council Bluffs; daughters, Linda Smith of Omaha, Kristi A. Hunter of Council Bluffs, Amy (Chris) Lincoln of Omaha; 5 grandchildren, Casey Hunter, Nathan Lincoln, Caleb Lincoln, Kiley Lincoln, Allison Lincoln, and great granddaughter, Skylar Hunter. .
