About	Edward A. Wendt, age 54, of Council Bluffs, passed away April 23, 2013, at Mercy Hospital. Ed was born July 30, 1958, in Denison, Iowa, to the late Arnold and Fayette (VaNess) Wendt. He graduated Thomas Jefferson High School in 1976. Ed was a fork truck operator at Griffin Pipe for the past 24 years. He was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Steel Workers Union. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by a granddaughter, AnneMarie McVay and mother-in-law, Lois Geer. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda (Geer) Wendt; children, Kellie (Michael) Miller, Joshua Runte, Edward A. (Ariana) Wendt, II, Jessica (Chris) Miles all of Council Bluffs, Joseph Wallace of Bedford, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; sister, Diane Steffensen; father-in-law, Gene Geer both of Council Bluffs; other relatives and a host of friends. Memorials: The family will direct memorials. Visitation: Visitation with the family, Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Service: Funeral service, Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Cemetery: Interment Garner Township Cemetery with a lunch following at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St.
