Services Are Held For Billy Congdon
Services for Billy D. Congdon, 34, of 1634 16th Ave., were held Wednesday at Woodring Funeral Home.
Congdon, who had heart surgery in August, died at Omaha's St. Joseph Hospital Saturday after becoming ill while visiting Omaha relatives.
A Council Bluffs native, Congdon had been a maintenance worker at Midlands Mall shopping center before retiring in 1988.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy; sons Kiether and MIchael; parents Giles and Ella Congdon; sisters Barbara McGlone, Bonnie Nusser and Betty Yearington; and brother Brian Congdon, all of Council Bluffs.
