Catherine W. (Watkins) Boetel, age 69, passed away May 2, 2024 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
She was born July 17, 1954 to Louis and Juanita (Johnson) Watkins in Iowa City, IA. Cathy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1973, and worked as a title clerk for Woodhouse for 19 years. She enjoyed painting ceramics and traveling to Phoenix to visit family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garry Boetel; brother, Bill Watkins; and brother-in-law, Ralph Head.
Cathy is survived by her siblings, James Watkins, Clara Head, Debbie Frey; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
