About	Wanda J. McNeal, age 83, of Council Bluffs, passed away May 6, 2024 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha. Wanda was born March 4, 1941 in Mills County, IA to the late Harold and Bertha (Ellis) Boyer. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1959. Wanda married William E. McNeal on August 28, 1959. They were blessed with one son, Greg. Wanda was a physician’s assistant for L. Thomas Hood, M.D. for many years and then owned and operated Physician’s Medical Billing. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Bill McNeal in 2017; sisters, Mary Ellen Morris in 1977, Sharon Leffert in 2020 and brother-in-law, Lynn Leffert in 2005. Wanda is survived by her son, Greg (Terry) McNeal; grandchildren, Emmaline (Connor Meis) McNeal, Louie Rocker Tanner all of Council Bluffs; surrogate grandchildren, Zach (Angela) Kinart of Montgomery, TX, Nicholas (Angela) Kinart of Middleton, MD, Kelsey (Zeb) Wahle of Minden, IA, and Tyler (Diana) Marr of Council Bluffs; nieces and nephews. Funeral service, Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery with a lunch following at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. Visitation with the family, one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family will direct memorial contributions.
