About	Robert "Bob" Ruby, Jr. was born on February 17, 1955, to Carolyn (Ramsey) Ruby and Robert L. Ruby, Sr. in Fort Leonardwood, Mo. Bob grew up in Council Bluffs and on December 27, 1971, met his best friend and soul mate, Sherry (Hathaway) Ruby. Bob and Sherry were married 40 wonderful years on May 3, 2014. They were blessed with four children, Heather (Ruby) Koch, spouse, Shawn Koch, Justin Ruby, and spouse, Lauren (DeSimone) Ruby. Bob was also blessed with three grandsons, Dalton Koch, Aaron Ruby and Jacob Ruby. Bob was preceded in death by his father, brother, Paul "Doug" Ruby, and Sherry's father, James Hathaway (Bob's Pop). Bob is survived by his mother; brothers, Kelly Ruby, Al Ruby, Bill Ruby, Jim Hathaway, Tony Hathaway; sisters, Peggy (Ruby) DeSantiago, Carolyn "Kitty" (Ruby) Sharearm, Tammy (Ruby) Yochum, Susan (Hathaway) Neel; and Sherry's mother, Sharon (Bob's madre). Bob didn't believe in friends, only extended family. Bob's love of family overcame all. Bob touched many lives and will be remembered for his kind, gentle spirit, his many talents and music.
