About	Donald Allen Manson, age 82, was born to Gerald Donald Manson and Mary Hazel Meritt in Hebron, Nebraska, March 9, 1941. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 1959 and immediately enlisted in the Navy. Upon his honorable discharge, he moved to California and worked in the construction industry and later as a dispatcher for Shell Oil. In 1965, he married Edris O. Estes and from that marriage were born three children: Lorraine Manson, Denise Stilley, and Darren Manson. That marriage ended in 1979. October 9, 1981, he married Bonnie S. Meadows and became a father to her son, Brock Meadows. He operated his own concrete construction business for the next thirty-five years. He departed this life August 26, 2023. He is preceded in death by too many family members and beloved friends to mention. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie; four children; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many dear friends. There will be a celebration of life announced on social media in the very near future. Inurnment will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs, Iowa, next to his father and eventually his wife, Bonnie. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
