About	Claudia Jean Schnaible, age 84, formerly of Council Bluffs, passed away July 13, 2022, at the Griswold Care Center where she has resided since 2019. Claudia was born on December 8, 1937, in Council Bluffs to the late Claude and Opal (Green) Finney. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1955. Claudia was united in marriage to Harvey R. Schnaible in 1956 and together they were blessed with son, John. Claudia worked in clothing retail at Von Maur. She was a longtime member of Saint John Lutheran Church. Claudia was a founding member of the Thomas Jefferson Hall of Fame. She as an avid fan of the College World Series and held season tickets for over 50 years. In addition to her parents, Claudia was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey in 2001; brother, Gary Finney. She is survived by son, John and his wife, Heidi Simpson of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandson, Cameron Schnaible; granddaughter, Tori Trelles and her husband Tyler all of Omaha; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Benny Trelles. Visitation Sunday 2:00pm to 4:00pm at funeral home. Funeral service Monday 11:00am at Saint John Lutheran Church followed immediately by a luncheon. Interment will follow the funeral luncheon at Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Saint John Lutheran Church and Alzheimer’s Association.
