About	Donald Q. Lewis, age 86, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Bethany Lutheran Home.Donald was born in Council Bluffs, to the late Marion and Helen (Vencel) Lewis. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and then attended Creighton University for 2 years. He worked as a Business Representative for Labor Local Union #1140 for 32 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Labor Local Union #1140, Tangier Shrine, Cobia Lodge # 631 as a 32nd Degree Mason. He spent his life fighting for the working man.He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jerry; and brother, Marion Lewis.He is survived by his wife, Edith, of Council Bluffs; sons, Larry and Margie Lewis; Robert Lewis, all of Council Bluffs; daughter-in-law, Mary Lewis, of Sheboygan, Wisc.; 4 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.Visitation with family on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Graveside Service on Thursday, at 11 a.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will direct memorials.
