About	Terry V. Waldron, age 83, a longtime Council Bluffs Barber, passed away peacefully June 2, 2023, at Midlands Living Center. Terry was born November 29,1939, in Council Bluffs, to the late Donald W. and Edna (Kunze) Waldron and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1960. He was united in marriage to Ila Rasmussen on September 12, 1964. Terry was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge #631. Terry opened Terry’s Clip and Style in 1975 and operated the barber shop until retiring in 2019. He will be remembered for his patience and selflessness with each and every customer, priding himself in taking his time with each customer. He loved his work and was loved by all. Terry leaves to mourn his wife of almost 59 years, Ila, of Council Bluffs; sons Phillip Waldron, of Charlotte, NC. and Christopher Waldron, and wife Maribel Phoenix, of Belchertown, Mass; 6 grandchildren, Jonathon, Jonah, Noah, Dillon, Alex, and Jade; 4 great-grandchildren, Marcel, Annelise, Maeve and Mason; sister Donna Raynor, of California; niece Rhonda, nephews Don, Mike, Bob, and Tom Waldron; brother-in-law Karl Rasmussen and wife Deloris, of Cheney, KS.; and nieces Joni, Julie and Karen, and many friends. Visitation Thursday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service Friday 1:00 p.m., all at funeral home. Terry will be laid to rest in Cedar Lawn Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Walnut Hill Reception Center. Family has asked memorial donations to be directed to St. John’s United Church of Christ.
