Rosemary Langford, age 62, of Council Bluffs, passed away on June 13, 2017. Rosemary was called home after a 3 and 1/2 year battle with lung cancer.
Rosemary was born December 24, 1954, in Camden, Ark., to Georgia Mothershed and Eddie Lee Whitney. She worked at Mercy Hospital, as well as other various jobs. Rosemary was a member of the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where she was on the usher board.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her longtime significant other, Curtis Floyd.
Rosemary leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Georgia Mothershed; daughter, Venita Langford; son, Michael Langford; two grandchildren, Quadry Gardner and Tyrese Gardner; brothers, Theodore Mothershed (Sharon), Eugene Brock, Alfred Brock, and David Brock; sister, Ronda Mothershed; aunts, Nora Duncan, with whom she shared a special bond, Dorothy McCloud (Robert), and Brenda Ady (Jim); uncle, Anthony Langford (Melody); longtime friend, Nancy Rollins; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday, at 1 p.m., at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 1400 Ave A, Council Bluffs. Memorials may be directed to the family.
