Class of 1965
Army, 20+ Years
Drafted in 1968, went to vietnam as a field and helicopter medic, home in 1969, trained other medics at fort sam houston, texas. Out of regular army in 1970. Joined ct army national guard, 141st medical company later in 1970. Became emt in the guard, retiring with 27 years total service as the company first sgt. I then, after getting laid off from executive greetings in new hartford, got my RN with a masters, working in a doctors office as a physians assistant.

I was a military police traffic accident investigator. I spent my entire career at Fort Belvoir, VA. In the early 80's our unit spent the summer at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA assisting in operation, The Mariel boatlift Crisis, a mass exodus of Cubans who departed from Cuba's Mariel Harbor for the United States between April 15 and October 31, 1980.

in February 1962. Reported to USS FISKE DD842
in JAN 1966. NAS South Weymouth, Mass next duty station until May 1969 when tranferred to USS NIAGARA FALLS AFS-3. Reported to Navy Recruiting District New York in August 1971 and moved to NRD Newark NJ in August 1973 when district was split. Transferred to USS AINSWORTH FF 1090 in August 1977 and retired in July 1978. Worked at Naval Air Rework Facility in Norfolk, Virginia until May 1979 as civil service employee. Tranferred to Navy Recruiting District Newark, NJ in May 1979 until reporting to civil service employment at Navy Branch Medical Clinic in Lakehurst NJ. Over 48 years service with the US NAVY. Currently reside in Manchester NJ near Navy Lakehurst.
