Drafted in 1963. Posted to Grafenwöhr, Germany in May 1964 for 16 months. Joined AF in 1966. Assignments to Siegelbach Air Station, Germany, Offutt AFB, Nebraska, Ton San Nhut AB, Vietnam, Travis AFB, California, RheinMain AB, Germany, Wiesbaden, Germany and Scott AFB, Illinois.

ROTC at TCU 1975-1979 Pilot training at Columbus AFB MS 1980. 7th Air refueling squadron Carswell AFB TX 1981-1986 saw temporary duty in England, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Guam, Korea, Panama, Japan, Phillipines and Alaska. Left active duty and joined the Air Force reserves 301st TAC fighter wing at Carswell AFB TX 1986-1989.

Served on USS Samuel Gompers, USS Twinning, USS Coral Sea and USS Enterprise. Instructor at the ETA School, Treasure Island (San Francisco) for 4+ years. Retired at NAS Chase Field, Beeville, TX.

Our Taylor High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
