About Me	Maried to Robert Carew Retired from a career in Special Education in June of 2010 Denny – aka - Denise returns to the world of art after 30 years in a career in the field of special education. During the early 80’s I exhibited in several Toledo area art exhibitions following art classes taken at the Toledo Art Museum, Bowling Green State University and many hours of painstaking self instruction. My artwork usually depicts some type of a relationship, message or feeling I observed in the world around me. This might be on a city street, a bus stop or in a story I heard about star-crossed lovers who ran away to the circus to be together. I have a small inventory of photographs and my art work is usually completed in pen & ink, pencil, or colored pencil.
