Captain Georginia S. Bradshaw is from Sweetwater, Tennessee where she enlisted into active duty in 1997 and was commissioned in the Transportation Corps upon graduation from Officer Candidate School, Fort Benning, GA in 2004. She is a graduate of Cumberland University where she holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and is currently working towards her MBA from Grantham University.
CPT Bradshaw's enlisted and officer assignments include In/Out processing NCOIC Battalion Schools NCO, Enlisted Promotions NCOIC, Joint Task Force 519 (JTF-519), Operations Sergeant, and Officer Section NCOIC while assigned to the 82nd Soldier Support Battalion (Airborne), 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC and the 556th Personnel Service Battalion, Scholfield Barracks, HI; Distribution/Maintenance Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in the Delta Troop Forward Support Company, 1st Squadron 61st Cavalry, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Operation Iraqi Freedom OIF 05-07 (OIF-3, 101st Airborne Division); Brigade Assistant PAO&JVB, Assistant Movement Control Officer, and Brigade Public Affairs Officer in HHC 4th Brigade Combat Team, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Captain Bradshaw assumed command of Bravo Company, 801st Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (AASLT) on August 1, 2007. She will remain in the 801st BSB as the S3 Plans Officer.
CPT Bradshaw's military education includes the Transportation Officer Basic Course, Officer Candidate School, Unit Movement Officer Course, Basic Course, Officer Candidate School, Unit Movement Officer Course, TC-AIMS II Joint User Course, Airborne School, Warrior Leader Course, and Air Assault School. Her military awards and decorations include: Bronze Star Medal, NATO Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Achievements Medal (with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster), Good Conduct Medal (with 2 Oak Leaf Cluster), Valor Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (with 2 Stars), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (with 1 Star) Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (with 2 Oak Leaf Cluster), Mechanic & Drivers Badge, Airborne Badge, and the Air Assault Badge.
CPT Bradshaw is married to SFC George Bradshaw of Miami Florida, who is the current S-1 NCOIC for 1st Squadron 32nd Cavalry, 1st Brigade Combat Team, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. They have one child, Kayla (8yrs) and their chiawaha dog JoJo.
