Christopher Scott Bowman
Class of 1990
Chris Bowman, graduate of 1990, received a Whittle Scholarship to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. At UTK, Chris served as President of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity as he obtained his bachelor's degree in English. After studying abroad at the University of Lille in France, he decided he wanted to ". . . help more than hurt . . ." Chris chose medical school over law school and attended the University of Tennessee- Memphis and graduated very near the top of his class in 1999. Upon graduation from medical school, Chris served as an intern in Orthopaedic Surgery at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greeneville, South Carolina. He accepted a fellowship from The Houghston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia, serving a year in such capacity until accepting a position as a surgeon.
Chris and his wife, Aliceson, currently live in Columbus, Georgia, where Chris performs serves as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and football team doctor for Valdosta State and for a local high school.
