$40 per person, $80 per couple. This is an adult-only event.

Hello, Class of 1970!
We’re planning our 50 year reunion and would like your input. Fifty years is quite a milestone, and we’d like to help everyone celebrate by making it an enjoyable evening or weekend in late August with opportunities to visit with as many people as possible for those who attend.
We’re currently planning the following:
* A Meet and Greet at the school’s new Performing Arts Center on Friday afternoon. The high school would be open for tours at this time. (There have been a lot of changes to the building since 1970!)
* A Reunion Dinner at a yet-to-be-determined location on Saturday evening. We need to know the size and preferences of the group before we can choose a site.
We’re also considering:
* Attending a Dragon football game as a group — date permitting
* A golf outing
Please complete the linked 10-question survey by November 1, 2019, to let us know if you plan to attend and what your interests are. It should take about 2 minutes to complete, even less if you do not plan to attend. The number of people who plan to attend and the type of event they would prefer will help us determine the evening reunion site and its cost. We will do our best to satisfy the majority of those who respond. Whether or not you plan to attend, please respond. Otherwise, in our attempt to contact as many 1970 graduates as possible, we’ll continue to track you down.

The festivities will start at 7:00 p.m., so if you'd like to go out to dinner beforehand, you've got some time.The cost is $18/person and $30/couple until August 1, and $20/person and $35/couple up until the 27th. Please make checks payable to Swartz Creek High School Class of 1986, and mail them to: Beth Newhart 969 Balfour Road Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230 We have a pavilion reserved at Winshall Park for Sunday. There is an art show at Elms Road Park that weekend, so we have to move the venue. Bring your family and a picnic lunch, and continue to catch up. We also have some rooms reserved with special rates at hotels near Genesys. We'll get that info up shortly. We're opening this up to other classes for Swartz Creek, so if your BFF from '85 wants to come, please invite them! Also, we're using Facebook as our primary way of contacting people. There will be announcements placed in the Flint Journal and Swartz Creek News, but that's it. If you know of someone who'd like to come, but isn't on FB or hasn't joined this group, please pass along the information.
