Class of 1988
Army, 4 Years
john served in the us army in the7th division light infantry. He served as an anti tank special weapons squad leader. He qualified expert with an m16 as well as his anti tank weapon (dragon) He recieved his basic training and advanced training at ft. benning ga. he was then stationed at ft. ord california with 1/9 7th division. He served in panama and then his whole batallion was transferd to korea and became 2nd division 1/503. Their primary mission in korea was to guard the Dmz between the north and the south koreas.
