After graduating from Stranahan High School in 1965, Mike went on to graduate from Georgia Tech in 1970 with a Chemical Engineer degree. He then became an environmental specialist for the government and then a business man working until retirement with his own company. He had a hand in many other business endeavors and was a well known speaker with advanced knowledge and experience in environmental projects. He enjoyed traveling and visited many other countries as well as all 50 states.
Mike suffered from cancer for ten years prior to his death. He leaves behind his wife Jane, daughter Kate (Marco), son Eric, sisters Sandra, Karen and brother Paul, one grandson Oliver. He is greatly loved and missed.
