National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star; Korean Defense Service Medal; and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal
1985 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy,
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Participated in U.S. Army international rifle competition in Turkey, commanded a 155mm howitzer battery in First Infantry Division during Tet Offensive (1968) in Vietnam. Retired as Lt. Colonel at Ft. Hood, TX on 1 Feb 1989.
