Joined the Air Force in 1973. First assignment wss Grissom AFB, IN. Transferred to Spangdahlem AB, Germany in Mar '75. Next two assignments were special duty posts - the USAFE Elite Guard at HQ USAFE, Ramstein AB, Germany '77-'81, then the 176th SPS with the Presedential unit at Andrews AFB, MD, ''81 - '93. Retired Oct '93.

1982-2005. SFC/E7 Retired: M1 Abrams and Bradley Fighting Vehicle maintenance and electronics repair. I was placed in Staff positions in logistics during my senior leadership service. Served tours in Germany, Italy and Korea. CONUS based at FT Hood, TX. Served tours in Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.

Served total of 28 years with 13 active duty and 15 reserve. Began career as a Private and retired as a Major. Assigned to the Army Security Agency with last assignment as Commander of the 214th Military Intelligence Company (Counterintelligence). Assignments included Japan, England and a combat tour in Vietnam with the 11th Armored Cavalry. Retired 11/30/17 from my second career with the National Security Agency. Now just relaxing!

Worked on the Minuteman III nuclear weapon system from 1981 to 2001 becoming a Cold War Veteran with the fall of Russia. Stationed at F.E. Warren AFB, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Grand Forks AFB, Grand Forks, North Dakota and Vandenberg AFB, Lompoc, California.

Joined in Jan. 2002, Did Basic Trianing and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Knox, Ky. June 02 to Dec. 04 Stationed at Fort Irwin, Ca. Dec 04 to May 06 Assigned as Recruiter to Columbus Recruiting Battalion, Columnus, Ohio. May 06 to Jan. 07 Stationed at Fort Knox, Ky. Then Exited the Military after 5 years. 2 years later, Jan. 2009 called back up for Deployment to Iraq, with North Carolina National Gaurd. Currently in Baghdad Iraq.

Serving as a nurse in the Navy and caring for our active duty Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, Marines and their families, as well as our Retirees and Veterans is an honor. Have definitely had the opportunity to see the world, serving on both coasts of the U.S., Italy, Japan, and now Guam.
