Served 8 years in the USNR, two aboard the USS Juneau LPD 10 in Vietnam from 1970 - 1972. I was a 2nd Class Engineman supervising a crew that fixed and maintained all the auxiliary equipment. We were at sea 270 days each year moving US Marines and equipment in and out of the war.
