Buford Scott, 68, retired city power plant manager, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1988.
Service 10 a.m. today, Fields Memorial Weslyan Church.
Survivors: sons, Raymond of Springfield, Mo., Buford Lee of Topeka, Leon Russell of Long Beach, Calif., Glen Russell of Joplin, Mo.; daughters, Cynthia Wilken of Fort Worth, Rebecca of Dallas; sisters, Edith Daniels of Johnson, Elsie Brehm of Independence; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded by his parents, wife Virginia, and son Richard Landon Scott, Sept. 21, 1988.
Memorial has been established with the Stanton County Long Term Care Unit, Johnson.
